Vermont

We took a quick trip up to Vermont and spent the night. After exploring every inch of the hotel, including under the beds in the room Grandma and Grandpa were in, the kids finally fell asleep. Our room was a bit warm so they had tossed the blankets aside and crossed their legs and relaxed.
The little town we stayed in had these hay bears in front of all the stores, hotels, etc all decorated in some way. This was the one out front of our hotel.

Our first stop the next morning was Sharon, the birth place of Joseph Smith. The leaves were incredible as was our experience there.

We sat on this hillside over looking the statue. David saw Allison with Grandma and Grandpa and had to go catch up.

We then took a little hike down to see the foundations of homes that would have been there around the 1800's.

We then ventured up to the Ben and Jerry's factory, sampled cheese, an apple cider mill with fresh apple cider and apple cider donuts and the Trapp Family Lodge.

The kids I think were ready for a break and found enjoyment running and sliding down the hill at the Trapp Family Lodge.

Allison can't seem to go anywhere these days without a notebook and pen in hand to make notes and send love notes to everyone.
