soccer

David is loving soccer!
It is crazy here. The first three weeks of practice they have flown men over from England to teach them the proper way to play soccer. Too bad one week was canceled due to a hail storm.

preschool

Allison started preschool a few weeks ago. She was super excited to have Dad come along with us to see what her first day was like. It was great to see a smile and lots of fun descriptions when I picked her up! She is loving it!

Bridget is loving the walks or rides each morning and afternoon to the bus stop. She is all smiles!

First day of school

David was so excited to start the first day of first grade on the first of September. He is so funny he asked if we could find a yellow shirt with blue, white and red stripes for him to wear the first day, so it would match the stripes in his bedroom. (I couldn't find one with a red stripe too, but he said this one would be okay.) He wanted everything yellow. We found a yellow back pack, yellow pencil box, yellow folder...you name it. He still LOVES yellow.

They changed the schools so all the K-2 kids in the town go to one school. So he started another new school. We were able to go take a tour of it before school started and see where he would be. He was happy to finally meet his teacher on the first day of school, we seemed to have missed her the other times we were at the school.

I think it was harder on me having him gone for the whole day than it was for him. He is loving it, even if he only has one friend from his kindergarten class in his new class, time to make some new friends.
