eyes wide open

p

When everyone left for church this morning, Bridget and I had a laugh. She was so smiley (of course not when I flashed the camera) and happy. Some dear friends picked out the flower just for Bridget. It just makes me smile since it is as big as her head and she will just look up at it like "why is this big thing on my head".

on our own

Our "in house" help left yesterday. We were able to have two teary good-byes as they returned for a forgotten bag. Luckily they hadn't gone to far. The afternoon went well. We will hope the days keep going this smooth for the week until we see them again. Thanks for all your help mom and dad! We couldn't have made it without you.

holding and loving

We still can't seem to get enough of Bridget. At 5:30 am David will come in and ask if it is his turn to hold her.
Allison just wants to be right in her stuff and holding her all the time too.

They are so sweet with her!

What a doll.

swimming and ice blocking

Grandpa and dad have kept the other kids busy playing, going to movies, going swimming and their latest event was ice blocking. They had so much fun with a constant playmate! Thanks for making the first week easier on me.

sleeping

A lot of sleeping is going on around here!

home from the hospital

Bridget looked so small in her car seat, but was happy to be in it and enjoyed her ride home. We came home to some excited kids. That haven't been able to stop wanting to hold her, touch her, kiss her, sing to her, put in a pacifer, hold her hand or be by her side.

Bridget may not always feel the same.

She had her first bath,

but enjoyed being done most.

Friday Jill was to be induced. The hospital was busy and we weren't admitted until 10:30pm. Saturday morning at 3:06am Bridget Jillian Deskins was born.
