Playing with blocks has never been so fun. Allison was teaching Bridget all the basics, building and knocking down. Then Allison sat in the bucket the blocks go in. Later that afternoon I turned around to find someone else had figured out how to get herself in the bucket.

She was pretty proud of herself and so was her sister!

Since building with blocks she has found she can build with other things too.

Ta da...the tower of playdough.

Bridget's latest trick has been throwing away trash. When asked to throw a wrapper away she will pick it up and go put it in the garbage can, often clapping for herself after. Today however, while a friend was here, she was taking books off the table and going into the other room and coming back for more. After the visit I was making dinner and went to throw something away and discovered where she had been putting them...in the trash can. Maybe we have taken this a little too far!
