I don't know if you can see it or tell, but that pond of water doesn't belong there. We have gotten so much rain that the ground is saturated and water is collecting all over the yards here, or for that matter any space where it can.

Like our driveway. There is a slight dip which created a great puddle to jump in. After days and days of rain we invested in boots. David and Allison quickly put them to the test and began jumping.

Allison enjoyed it so much she managed to drench two pairs of pants from jumping. (done at two different times.)

She enjoyed it until her enthusiastic jumping landed her on the ground, scraping her knees and getting her hands dirty.

real dirty, huh.

Despite the fun of jumping in puddles,

the sun was out today. We were glad to see it!

too fun. I love a good puddle. At BYU I would go out after the rain, in the dark and jump in puddles in my barefeet to unwind. Maybe don't tell the kids that until it warms up! Miss you. Your baby sheep is ADORABLE, rug burn and all!
