a lot done

Besides celebrating birthdays while we were in Utah, my mom was wonderful to help me get many other things accomplished. We found Easter clothes, had pictures taken, went to the children's museum and searched out everything we could from the Church History Museum to the Salt Lake Cemetery for my next ward activity about the Latter-day Prophets.

Hiding in the "Egg Chair" at the children's museum. We went to learn from Sesame Street characters how our bodies work. David was so excited to learn "how our bodies make poo". Of course I missed taking pictures of all that.

Allison loved the museum, riding the horse and running around. She loved playing in the water. She would have stayed for hours with her hands under the trickle if she could have.

A complete photo at the mall experience includes:
  • buying the shoes for the photo (a size too big because it is all they had)
  • Allison not wanting her picture taken and in the end screaming when they were over that she wasn't done yet
  • lunch at hot dog on a stick (notice David's hat in his hand. In his case all he wanted was the fresh squeezed lemonade.)
  • playing on the toys, without having to put the quarters in because they are too scary that way. (at least it saves me money, right)

Here are some of the photos of what we found traveling around Utah. I learned a lot of interesting information about church history, hopefully I will be able to make our trivia show a success.

The cemetery was really neat. It was amazing to see so many prophets buried in one place.

Wow. You got a lot done. Good Job. I love learning about church history. I haven't seen the grave stone for President Hinckley so I was glad you took a pic

I think they sell that egg chair at IKEA.

Sounds like a fun packed trip!
