We had visitors last night. Wow was David excited. He woke up and found green foot prints outside his bed room door with a green hot wheel, green goggles and some green hershey kisses. (Allison had blue goggles and candy, she woke up later and wasn't so excited until she realized they were candy and in they went.) He had left some gold coins out to entice the leprechauns in hopes that they would take the coins and leave him something green. He couldn't believe it worked. He then asked me "how are the foot prints stuck to the wall? Why are they a funny shape? Leprechauns must have funny feet or shoes. I think there shoes have tape on the bottoms so when they walk in houses the tape sticks and it leaves a print, but it doesn't do that outside or we could see them hiding."

It's official...well, it's always been official, Jill, you are the most amazing mom on the planet! Do you just think of fun stuff like this all by yourself. I would need help from Martha or FamilyFun:) How fun, next year the leprechaun is definitely going to visit our home!
So I had no idea it was even st. patrics day until the day after. I really stink at this mom stuff. I need lessons :)
What a fun and creative idea! I would never expect anything less from you though...you truly are the mother of the year!
