Ward Christmas Party

Being the Activities Chair in our ward let me have the great opportunity of planning the Ward Christmas Party. Well, I decided I wanted to have a "Journey to Bethlehem" and have the members dress up as in the times of Jesus' birth. We had six rooms decorated that small groups journeyed to and ended up in a marketplace for a dinner of traditional foods of the time (okay as best as we could come up with. It was a beautiful night, the photos don't do it justice. The rooms were all quite dark with lights flickering, which you really can't see.

The Wisemen

Shepherds and the city of Bethlehem they looked towards.

Mary, Joseph and our baby Jesus

King Herod

Beautiful Angels

Some of our Shepherd guides

The food tent and a corner of the cultural hall. Most families sat on blankets on the floor to eat.

David and Allison sat in the kitchen with their friends as the moms busily worked in the kitchen.
