stripes

David has been sleeping in a purple room for a few months. At Christmas we were able to paint it yellow with the help of my parents (after getting a VERY stubborn border off). He wanted yellow walls with stripes like his curtains. I talked him out of making plaid walls, it just wasn't in me to try stripes vertical and horizontal.

Instead he went for three stripes all the way around the room, blue with red in the middle and a white one underneath. I think his ideas turned out great! We love to play in his room in the afternoon when the sun is shining in the window. That is only when the floor is clean, it is usually scattered with legos and books.

it looks great! Isn't it fun having your own place to do this stuff?

Their rooms are so cute. I noticed the misson bank and remember the day that Lydia emptied it and all of David's other banks only to mix all the money up. lol! Soory, I still feel bad about that one.

The stripes turned out so cute! Good job! Now you need a white chair rail with a little shelf above the stripes! Just an idea!!!!

Very cute...good work! Is David thrilled?
