Halloween this year was really fun for the kids, especially for David. HE won THIS!
522 pieces of candy for guessing 500 pieces at our ward primary party. His face was classic. Eyes as big as saucers as he walked up to claim his prize. He was so excited he just kept staring at it.
The weather was nice Halloween night as they went around the neighborhood. 10 houses and about 40 pieces of candy. Just what we needed.
Barely holding the jar he has been great to share the candy with us all. Yesterday we were getting a piece and he was digging around and found this inside...
yes that is a jar of pickles in his hand. We had a laugh!
We then had to empty the jar and count and sort the rest of the candy. We still have 493 pieces and it has been a week. Not too bad with a candy junky like me in the house!

Great costumes! Glad everyone had a good Halloween. I can just picture David in shock going up to get the big jar of candy. Save it for Christmas stockings . . . and Valentine's Day and Easter baskets . . .
