We stumbled upon a cool Farm day at an nature reserve and what a fun find it was (and break from a hotel!!) We were there when it opened and the kids were so excited for a hayride we rushed over to be the first in line. For that matter the first to even get a ride. It was different than any the kids had been on before. David kept asking where the pumpkin patch was. The ride went through a forest and around a field of "milk duds" and over a little stream. It was absolutely gorgeous.

We learned how to make apple cider and tried our hand at it. Incredibly delicious right off the press.

David had a fun time trying to catch monarch butterflies that they tag and see how many make it to Mexico. He wasn't able to catch one, but had fun learning about them. We also tried "frogging" in a pond there. Allison didn't catch a frog, but caught some neat water bugs that they told us about.
