Hot Air Balloon Mania

Or as David calls it "party with my friends in the freezing cold early morning hours." Saturday, bright and early the kids and I ventured with some other friends to a hot air balloon rally. We had a great time being so close to the balloons and watching the step by step process to get a hot balloon in the air.

David tells me the best part was eating lots of donuts. His face was covered with chocolate and powdered sugar. Allison got in on it too.

Allison loved watching as they unrolled, turned on fans and air started filling them up.

I was turned watching some balloons, when David came running, saying "Mom, you have to get a picture of the most dangerous thing. A man is going with out a basket, does he want to die?"

David's favorite one this year was the chess one.

Watching the hot air balloons was one of our favorite things to do when we lived in Utah. Great pictures!
