birthday boy

I can't believe it. It has been four years since our sweet little boy changed our lives. We had a fun day yesterday. It started out early (5:30) with opening presents and french toast for breakfast.

The balloon's googly eyes were a favorite.

Allison liked his new missionary bank and kept shaking hands or carrying it around like a baby.

David LOVED his own singing card. It sounds better right next to your ear. Thanks Jones' it was a BIG hit! He now can be like grandpa.

After a fun dinner at Red Robin, with the staff singing and giving David a sundae, he was still ready for cake. What a fun day. How happy we are that he is a part of our family. What a joy he brings. Although throughout the day "he still felt like he was three sometimes", I think he will enjoy being four, he just has to get use to it.

Happy Birthday, David!

I'd like to say that it seems like just yesterday, but I have to admit, I think it feels like about a million years ago that we had that combined baby shower for you and Mikaela!

Happy Birthday David! I can't believe it has been 4 years either! Those were good memories of all the preparing for our first little baby boys together. ANd isn't it funny that you, Gigi and I all have girls for our second child too? So fun!
