We were in a winter storm warning Saturday and Sunday. It started off as freezing rain, which covered the road and cars with up to an inch of ice. Then to top that off it snowed for 24 hours. We only got about 8 or 9 inches, but it was enough for church to be canceled. Aaron's flight to South Carolina and school.
Ice covered the car window, even after we had been out in it when it started.
I think Aaron got a bit carried away chipping off the ice.
Allison wouldn't go out and play in the snow, she preferred to watch from the widow.
David liked playing in the snow and making snow angels. Notice the tire tracks in the background. That is the street, it is still unplowed.

Don't you love this weather?! haha We got plenty of snow and ice up here too and more is expected. Isn't it springtime yet?
That must be some pretty serious ice!!
Can I come play and make snow angels with David??? It's just not the same trying to make them in the sand at the beach! Have you been house bound since Sunday or is it starting to melt and thaw out? Allison is too cute watching from the window! :)
that looks cold...could do with some of that right about now!
