We journeyed to Sacajewa State Park to see where the Snake and Columbia rivers meet. It was beautiful. We brought a picnic and enjoyed the water a bit. Well David did as he jumped right in. In no time he was up to his thighs in his clothes. What fun trying to pick up rocks on the bottom of the river.

David wouldn't sit at the picnic table. It was too "slanty".
He enjoyed his tuna sandwich on the grass.

Allison liked hers too.

We toured the Sacajewa museum and learned all about Shoshone Indians and the Lewis and Clarck expedtition. Finishing off the afternoon with a ride on the swings.

Every time I hear Shoshone I think of Grandma and Grandpa coming to Utah from Oregon! :) Brought a smile to my face that you actually learned about the indians! :) Looks like you had a great labor day! We had a fun one, Pam and Russ came down and we worked on the yard and house. Got lots done, but didn't have a picnic! hehehe
