When I picked David up his first comment was, "I think I am really going to like preschool. We did the hokey pokey." He proceeded to tell me about the two books they read, the licorice they got after they cleaned up. "We clean up when the light goes off and Ms. Tracy says 'Guess what time it is?'" He thought it was all great, especially using the little potty that's "just his size". The only thing he wants to change on Monday is that we use the "driveway". The school has a drop off lane where you drive up to the door of the room and one of his teachers opens the car door and takes him out. You can also pick up this way. I guess we will be trying it out on Monday.

David was so excited to go to school he was shooting Hooray!

The school gives each child a different colored bag that they are to decorate. David chose buttons. We were short a few, so we are off to the store for those today.

When they get to class they hang up their bags, take their name off the pocket chart and get started on the entry task. Writing their name and coloring for day 1.

As for his first day, Aaron, Allison and I all went to see how he did. Poor Allison was late getting to her nap and fell asleep in the car, sure enough as soon as I snap the picture her eyes pop open.

yeah Davie!!! We are so proud of you and your decision to start school this year. Hopefully your mom and dad will teach you how to study hard and apply all your skills to your school work. Just remember a scholarship may be looming in the future!
