I love the sunsets and views from the mountain tops in Salt Lake.
They are incredible.
One evening we quickly decided we were going to hike up to Ensign Peak to see the sunset. It was fun to read and talk about the history of the pioneers as they made their way into the Salt Lake Valley pulling hand carts and learning that this valley was indeed "the place" they would end their journey across America. David was fascinated by how the city looked from the top of this little knob of mountain that showed the entire valley as well as how the pioneers had climbed and figured out how to get to the top if Brigham Young was sick and lying down.

What a sunset! We got down off the mountain just as it was starting to rain. What a perfect way to end a day.

Looks like you had a ton of fun in Utah and were able to fit everything in you wanted and hoped to do!!! Sure wish we could have been there!!! Love and miss you!!!
