Growing up my neighbors had the greatest play house in their basement.
I have wanted to make one for my kids for months.
It is two pieces of plywood connected to make a right angle and then put up
against the corner of a room to make an 8 x 8 ft square room.
What a better time than Christmas....except that the time went to fast
and it isn't quite as finished as I wanted. We are having fun finishing it together though.
Here are pictures that my mom and sister have been waiting for...

David and Allison are each painting a picture on the wall and then they will be framed. David suggested we do this each year to see how they grow as artists. Great idea.
This is Allison's sunset over a bridge.
The kids have suggested a chalkboard or message board to be by a telephone on a little table. A lamp and bookshelf with books. I still haven't finished the mailbox.
They have had fun organizing dishes, baby beds and playing house. I have had fun watching, playing and remembering my childhood!
