While we were here the first few days, or more like weeks we had the luxury of staying in four different hotels while we waited to get in our house. Life in a hotel had some nice things: two of the four had free breakfast, all had fresh towels and linens, no need to make the bed and no toilets to clean, two had a pool. It also had some VERY hard things: living in one room with five people, sharing beds, no place for yourself (David often would sit in a closet or the bathroom). The kids slept in the most crazy ways.

We still managed somehow to get a library card and get some new books to read each night.

I guess another good thing was the great tv that could be watched...and from bed who doesn't like that?

David often found unique things to try at breakfast. He became fastenated with the little straws they used to stir coffee.

Poor Bridget just had enough. I can't say I blame her. We aren't missing the cleaning too much. Give me a few more days in my house then maybe I will want to go back to a hotel. You know it is bad though when your 3 year old asks are we going to our house or our hotel today mommy.

Hey Deskins! We miss you! So sorry we didn't get a chance to say goodbye! It's fun to hear about all your new adventures! Good luck settling in! I bet it's beautiful around those parts this time of year!
