The other day we were preparing for some little friends of Allison's to come over for a day of fun with the letter R. David thought it would be much more fun if we had a rocket to play in. Luckily we had a few boxes that hadn't made it to the recycling bin yet.
With a lot of duct tape a rocket was ready for all the friends to come and blast away.
It does go up at the top and looks rocketish with a slight slant. The kids are loving it and going on adventures to space each day. I just don't know how long I can handle it sitting in the middle of the room.

The local appliance shop here sells the fridge boxes for $1 a piece. They're great for huts, etc. and you don't feel bad throwing them away afterward. Then you don't have to use a ton of tape either. You might want to check in with yours and then you can set them up on occasion.
The Rocket was Awesome!! The girls are still wearing their rocket packs around the house!
