What a day! The train party went off pretty well. David only really melted down when the pinata broke and the candy flew all over, after only 3 of the 10 children had a chance to hit it. (The last pinata David was a part of the candy only came out the hole it was filled in. I don't think he knew they were suppose to break.) So here is a photo journey of the party.

David was excited to see all his work with the cake, he was checking it out before anyone came. He was the shaker of the green grass.

Decorating the boxes: Each child had stickers with their name, wheels and other shapes to decorate their box train car how they wanted. David had a yellow engine to lead the pack.

Waiting for every one to be ready. He had a train whistle to sound them all to the train.

Punching their train tickets.

All aboard.

Our first game: Engine, Engine, Caboose. (my version of duck, duck, goose)

Our second game: Pin the number on the train car.

Game 3: Bean Bag toss. They had to throw the bean bag through the sides and top.
Game 4: the pinata. It broke too fast I didn't get a picture.

Even the babies liked the train cars.

The cake was a hit with everyone.

That looks like it was such a fun party. I love the cake. How'd you make little small ones? Was it with mini loaf pans? Too cute
